Again, this year, Valentine's Day was celebrated in "Ivan Vazov" Secondary School.

For the school decoration took care even first graders of the school. With a great enthusiasm students from the Vth classes were leaders for The Box with "valentines."
On 14
th February the school library hosted students from classes IX- XII for a non-traditional lesson. Of course, the reason is Valentine's Day, too. The presentations about Valentine's Day and the masterpieces of love lyrics made by the classes in Information Technology lessons impressed the audience and gave the start of reading. Our special guest Vasil Maximov presented some poems from his new book. These poems provoked a reflection and students debated love. Natalia Nacheva from Xa class and Ivelin Hristov from IXa class impressed a personal pieces of their creative work. Students from IXa class and XIa class read love lyrics by Evtim Evtimov and Damian Damianov. Victoria Boycheva from Xa class sent greetings to all of us with two songs. And both with her classmate Darina Petrova deeply touched us by love's song.

"BEYOND WORDS" - Wonderful World PDF Print

Students from ІІa, ІІb, ІІb, ІVa and ІVb classes participated in the project "BEYOND WORDS", funded by Comenius.

An extracurricular reading was held in the school library at “Ivan Vazov” Secondary School. Iliya Petkov, as coordinator of the project, presented it and told students about the visits to the countries - partners. The pupils learned intresting stories about festivals and feasts, about the culinary delights, about authors and books.

"Little Infanta" - Spain
"One for All" - Netherlands
for Hell and Tandala - Romania
"Shrew" - Finland
"Careless cobbler- Greece
"The greatest wealth - Turkey
- Italy

Students reflected on the similarities and differences in the folk art of close and distant countries and got much new information that provoked their curiosity to the cultural richness of Europe.
