A meeting on the project “Beyond words” in Thessaloniki, Greece Print

From 20th to 24th of  January in Thessaloniki, Greece held the second meeting of partners on the international school project funded by Comenius” - "Beyond Words". At the meeting  attended Mrs. Radostina Georgieva – a headmistress of "Ivan Vazov" Secondary school, Mr  Iliya Petkov- a project coordinator and teachers - Mrs. Snejanka Berberova and Mrs. Vesselina Miryanova. The hosts of the school in a district Efkarpiya have tried to establish a good working environment. Along with the kind welcome the hosts showed us the sights of the unique cultural and historical Thessaloniki - the city's ancient Byzantine churches, coast cafes, palm trees and oranges, and of course the city  of Cyril and Methodius.
       
       Students - participants in the project "Beyond Words" from Thessaloniki were prepared handmade gifts for all  guests and they were our good helpers during our stay in their school. Our group presented to all  8 partners from different European countries  our work on the project, including search and collection of works of  art that can link with European values. Moreover, participants saw a presentation on "Interesting facts about Bulgaria, prepared by the school project team. Very pleasant emotions and laughter were caused of a short movie with a little comment for Greece, which previously were made in 2a class and 4a class. Also we have visited the tomb of Philip of Macedonia and a museum.

The next meeting of the project "Beyond Words" will be hold in the Romanian Black Sea  - in the city of Constanta, from 13 th to 18 th of April. It will involve students who are working on the projects.
