From 12 to 13 of May 2009 was held the Tenth National School Competition “Protection in disasters and accidents” in Rousse. Student competition is traditionally organized by the Ministry of emergency, together with the Ministry of Education and Science and the National Palace of Children. 28 areas of the country took part in the competition . Plovdiv region was presented by “Ivan Vazov” Secondary school “. On the first day our students showed excellent knowledge of various disasters and took second place in the provisional standings. On the second day was a practical part. Different teams showed skill centers to react in different situations where also they presented good knowledge . In one of the centers, however, their luck out, which were sanctioned by penal points and remained fifth in the final team standings. Congratulations for Encho Valentinov Belezirev, Genoveva Borilova Choralieva, Anya Georgieva Hristova, Mirela Stefanova Kunchev and their school trainer - Ralitsa Dimova.
