From 16th   to 23nd  of March 2010  "Ivan Vazov" Secondary school hosted students and teachers on the project "UNITED IN CULTURAL DIVERSITY" by a programme Comenius. 
At the meeting attended  13 students and 12 teachers from Greece, Poland, Romania and Turkey, as well as 10 students and 7 teachers from our school.
All had the opportunity to know each other and  became good friends. Guests learned a lot of about  Bulgarian history, our town and our beautiful nature. They went sightseeing in Sopot, Karlovo, Hissar, Koprivshtitsa, Starosel, Veliko Turnovo, Plovdiv and Sofia.
Students from dance classes impressed them  the variety of Bulgarian folklore. Guests tasted traditional dishes, jam of roses and rose liqueur.
Exploring the cultural diversity we have found common in traditions, food, and even languages. All participants left with fond memories, countless pictures and of course  new friendship.
