From April 28^th to May 1^st, 2011 "Ivan Vazov ", Secondary School in Sopot hosted partners of the International School project "Beyond the Words" funded by Comenius Lifelong Learning Program. 16 teachers and 10 students from Spain, Italy, Finland, Holland, Greece, Romania and Turkey were welcomed at the school with bread, geranium and folk dances. The guests went over the school, which made a great impression on them with its good facilities.

The first day was devoted to work on the project tasks, the main of which was the development of learning materials and resources to present some of Europe's values through various forms of native art - paintings, sculptures, music, etc. Some students from "Ivan Vazov” School and their mates from Romania and Turkey participated in some activities in the school library. Then they presented their countries through computer presentations, short videos and pictures.

The guests went sightseeing in Sopot, in Karlovo, visited the Church of “Rogdestvo Hristosvo” in the village of Shipka, an architectural and ethnographic museum "Etara", the fortress “Tsarevets” in Veliko Tarnovo and the city of Plovdiv. The guests were impressed by the beauty of nature in Central Balkan National Park during the walk by lift “Shambala” to the hut” Dobrila”.
All guests said that this was one of the best organized, most interesting and exciting project meetings. The partners from the seven European countries left with wonderful experiences and many positive emotions.
