In the festive sunny morning the first graders of "Ivan Vazov"Secondary School were excited because of receiving their first certificate of grade. Special greetings to students and their teachers headed Ivelina Dusova – assistant-headmistress of the school and Tsvetana Nedelcheva – a director of museum "Ivan Vazov".
Traditionally, students and teachers gathered in the schoolyard. Students carried the school’s flag, portraits of Saints Cyril and Methodius and a wreath of flowers for the monument of our patron - Patriarch of Bulgarian Literature – Ivan Vazov.
In the celebration took part the vocal group and dance ensemble of the school.
Mr. Veselin Lichev – Mayor of Sopot Municipality awarded with traditional prizes - Award for "Student of the Year" won by Nikolay Smolinski from 11a class and "Teacher of the Year" - Mariela Kokleva – teacher in Bulgarian language.
