On September 30th, 2011 was held the second initiative of the paragliding club “Sky Nomad” in the town of Sopot with a coordinator Ralitza Nikolova.

Students from second grade of "Ivan Vazov" Secondary school painted on the project "Establishment of sustainable practices to improve the living environment by protecting the pine forests near the town of Sopot" of Environmental Partnership Foundation and international programme “ Place to live- 2011”. This project is funded by "Charles Stewart Mott". The project aim is to create sustainable practices for improving the living environment through public involvement and solving environmental problems.

Using the nice weather children walked to “Manastirska polyana”. Students learned everything about the project and discussed environmental problems during the walk. There were games for meeting new friends from the club. Students received materials for painting and they have made wonderful paintings of the pine forest, the mountain, the track cycling and of course they had opportunities to show their imagination for 30 minutes. The last stage was the most exciting - visiting the improvised exhibition and contest the winner. Participants gave their own voice, following the condition: do not choose their own work and to choose one of all paintings. The most liked were the pictures of Tsvetelina, Paola, Valentin, Martin and Plamen. The winner, with the most votes was Paola Dusova, whom organizers gave a prize - paragliding. All participants received advertising of the club and of course a treat. The organizers expressed their gratitude and they were really satisfacted from the recent sessions.

Children were happy and went home with the memories of a beautiful autumn day and indicated their willingness to assist in initiatives to protect our nature.
