Union of Mathematicians in Bulgaria organizes International mathematical competition "European Kangaroo" annually. This year the regional round was held on March 17^th at the school "Hristo Prodanov"in the town of Karlovo. A total number of students were 154.

"Ivan Vazov" Secondary School, Sopot presented 15 students in the competition and 12 of them ranked in the top ten age groups.

On March 26^th , the school headmaster – Mrs. Radostina Georgieva gave certificates and prizes to the best-performing students and expressed her pride by all participants and their teachers.
