We are very close to Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year!
On December 14, 2012, special classes on „Cooking at school" from the sixth grade, headed by Maria Lyurtova and supported by colleagues from their Methodical Department presented the Lesson of Christmas customs. They told of traditions and beliefs, provided the attention of guests some grandmas’ recipes. As some modern housewives they prepared meals taking advantage of the products of the nearby shop skipping stages of kneading and grinding. However, they were very diligent in taste and decoration of dishes. A perfectly arranged table was obvious abundance. Luck of the special loaf cake and of Bulgarian traditional pie, called “baniza” overjoyed all students and guests. Colorful decorations and candles created a nice atmosphere. Girls sang Christmas songs. Just Christmas boys /Koledari/ missed. But Christmas day ahead and surely such a beautiful, rich and cheerful home will be honored by Christmas boys.
