According to the traditional customs Christmas holidays start with December 21 / In Bulgarian language - Ignajden/. Typical of the feast is the customcrawling”. It’s believed that according to first person who enters the house we can guess how much health, fertility and treasure we will have throughout the year. If the first guest is good and great, the year will be fruitful.

With “Ignajden” began the gathering of the groups of Christmas boys /Koledari/. In keeping with tradition, "Polaznitsi" from "Ivan Vazov" Secondary School left to wish good luck and prosperity. With joy and gratitude, they greeted their classmates and teachers at school, the mayor and personnel of the Municipality Sopot and personnel of museum "Ivan Vazov". The Christmas boys /Koledari/ wished them prosperity and success in the New Year with songs and dances. Hosts gave them some gifts, as tradition requires. They wished each other to be in a good health throughout the New 2013 Year.
