Meeting in Ankara, Turkey PDF Print

From 7th to 12th April, the 7th meeting of Comenuis Project ‘National Parks of Europe’ was carried out in Ankara, Turkey. Fethiye Kemal Mumcu Anatolian High School was the host of the meeting, and there were the participants from Bulgaria, Poland, Croatia, Italy, Hungary, Lithuania and Turkey.

During the meeting, the participants made a herbarium reference book about the typical plants and animals from the relevant national park of each country. The result can be seen here.

Turkish nature, history and hospitality made the pleasant and interesting stay of our representatives. Mr. Iliya Petkov, the school coordinator of the project, Mrs. Aneliya Petrova and the students- Fatma Sadulova from 8A, Petya Kostova from 7A, Detelina Cheshmedjieva from 6B had a chance to visit Soguksu National Park Museum and Fossiled Trees and Cappadocia, sightseeing and touring Goreme Open Air Museum, Kaymakli Underground and Pottery Houses. Our group visited Instanbul.

Bulgarian students made a lot of friends.

The last meeting of the project is going to be in the middle of May, in Zagreb, Croatia.
