In the early morning of 24th May, the first graders from "Ivan Vazov” Secondary School received their certificates for a completed first class. At 10:00 students, teachers and parents left the schoolyard as a festive procession to the square of Sopot.


The brightest Bulgarian holiday was opened with the hymn in honour of Saints Cyril and Methodius. Vesselin Lichev, mayor of Sopot municipality, congratulated all teachers and cultural workers, students, parents and all citizens for this inspired and blessed day of Slavonic Literature. He distributed the traditional awards ' Student of the Year "and "Teacher of the Year . " The twelfth grader Magdalena Stoyanova and MargaritaGudeva – our teacher of choreography received these prizes. The all festive program was prepared and presented by students from “Ivan Vazov” Secondary School and was filled with poems, songs and dances. The day ended with a parade of our graduators at their fabulous prom.
