The regional round of the students’ contest “Protection in Natural disasters” was held in Plovdiv on 28 April, 2015. The competition was among 13 teams from 12 municipalities in Plovdiv district. There were two stages in the competition - a test for checking students' understanding about the curriculum, which is taught at school and racing game, related with students’ skills how to deal with various emergency situations.

Traditionally, High school "Ivan Vazov", Sopot took part with a team of: Ana Macheva – 7^th grade, Krasimira  Yordanova – 7^th grade, Velislav Dimitrov  and  Velin Dimov  and their coach and teacher   Ralitsa Dimova. In the first part of the competition, they were the first among the teams, and Anna got maximum points. The organizers said that has been happening for the first time since the inception of the Games. In the second part the team was stumbled by the extinguishers. In the final standings,  High school "St. Sedmochislenitsi" , Plovdiv took the first place and our team came in the second one.

Their best present could be seen in the Cup of the competition and medals for the athletes,  and a special award for Anna Macheva.
