On 01/03/2016, at High school "Ivan Vazov" in the town of Sopot at 13:00 will be held the  sixth school round of the National Spelling English Spelling Bee competition.

From 27 February to 2 March 2016 over 6,500 students from 274 schools across the country will participate in the race after intensive trainings. Having ranked on the first and the second place students will represent their schools at the Regional competitions, which will be held on March 26, 2016 in 10 cities across the country. The best 30 students of all participants will participate in the national final on 23 April in Sofia, which will determine Spelling Bee champion of Bulgaria.

The competition is organized by the "Housing for education and development-KORPlyuS." It is implemented in partnership with the Foundation "America for Bulgaria", the US Embassy and under the patronage of the Ministry of Education and Science.

This year competitions are under the motto "BEE above aggression". The participating schools proposed rules for tolerance and goodwill in class, the idea is to draw attention to acts of aggression and harassment (psychological and physical) in school and ways to overcome them.
