On 26 February, 2016 in High school "Ivan Vazov ", Sopot, was held the competition "Unforgettable Past" . The initiative is dedicated to March 3rd - the National Day of Bulgaria and is organized by the teachers of fifth classes.

Three fifth classes chose their teams of 5 persons. The teams competed in different rounds in the areas like: History, Music and Bulgarian language. The teams showed very good knowledge about it. Yhr most difficult task was the creative one – sorting a puzzle of the historic site. The audience also had the opportunity to answer to some questions and received prizes. The three-member jury was observing the game and then evaluated the responses and pronounced the final ranking:

- I place – 5^th v grade class with head teacher Mariela Kokleva

- Second place – 5^th a grade class with head teacher Desislava Vidolova

- Third place – 5^th b grade class with head teacher Todora Maximova

Valentina Minkova was a special guest of the event. Nowadays Valentina Minkova is educator in house museum " Ivan Vazov ", Sopot, and as a presenter of it, she welcomed all to patriotic initiative and greeted all participants with great satisfaction.
