From 29 February to 4 March 2016 in Madrid, the capital of Spain was held the second meeting of partners in "Nature Detectives" Project, funded by the Erasmus + on the European Commission. The project "Nature Detectives" allows students to study and explore the plants and animals - invaders in a given region, such as a caterpillar (Thaumetopoea pityocampa Schiff) in the pine forest in our region. High school "Ivan Vazov" , Sopot was hosted of the first blended meeting of the project, now a selected group accompanied by Mr. Neliyan Nedkov – the assistant director, Mr. Iliya Petkov - the school project coordinator and the seventh graders Denitsa Lilova, Veronica Tsokova and Ivona Kostadinova, visited the school "Santo Angel de la Guarda" in Madrid - one of the eight project partners. The hosts had prepared extremely diverse, intense and interesting educational program. Students participated in workshops, watched types of invaders in the parks of Madrid and outside the city, made up distribution maps of species-invaders listened to a lecture on the subject by a specialist from the Ministry of Environment of Spain. Naturally, besides work and had lots of fun and deep contact with the rich Spanish history and culture. Visit the exquisite medieval town. Toledo, the old capital of Spain, Madrid pompous walk around, watching the birds in the Parc de Sudeste, Spanish dance and new friends are events that will never be forgotten.
