On the 3rd of November at 15:00 in “ Ivan Vazov” house-museum in Sopot was presented the new film by Iskren Krasimirov “I was named after Bulgaria” . The young director, supported and encouraged by his mother about the project “UNforgettable Bulgaria”, is the grandson of the Botev’s rebel Nikola Minkov. After the films, dedicated to Hristo Botev, Sofronii Vrachanski, Aleko Konstantinov and tzar Boris III, Iskren Krasimirov and his team dedicate a film to the Patriarch of Bulgarian literature .It is a film about Vazov’s short stories “Grandpa Jotzo watches” and “One Bulgarian Woman”. This film shows how Vazov tries to find some unknown Bulgarian images in the Vratca Balkan and his attempt to mythologize them. Students were impressed by the compelling pathos of this young director and the virtual travelling they’ve made .
All of them are impatient to see the other films of “UNforgettable Bulgaria”. |
