5^th of  December – it’s best known as the International Day of Volunteering. It was a wonderful possibility to all the students of “Ivan Vazov “Secondary school to meet some mountain rescuers and firefighters from Karlovo and Sopot.  It was one of their charitable initiations to give a lecture where they remembered the main rules and recommended prevention fires and crisis situations.

After the lecture there was a practical evacuation where all the students took part. The most interesting and attractive was the last part – a demonstration of extinguishing fires by using a fire truck. All the children were very happy to look inside and the bravier ones to use the fire hydrants.

We are very thankful to the Mountain Rescue Service and the Service Fire Safety in Karlovo. Our respect to their effort and sacrifice to people in need
