The day of “Ivan Vazov” Secondary school |

11th May – the day of St. St. Cyril and Methodius, is “Ivan Vazov” Secondary school’s festive day . The day begins with a solemn lesson in the classrooms. Then the students and their teachers went marching and bringing wreaths to the monument of the school patron. It follows the spectacle “From Vazov to Vazov – on the road of memories”. The students sang and recited Vazov’s songs. Then they watched a film about his lifetime. The film has been made by the students of literary club “From Vazov to Vazov – on the road of memories”. At the final all the students stood up and sang one of the most popular Vazov’s songs “Where is Bulgaria?”
Our head teacher – Mrs Georgieva, greeted the students and teachers and read a congratulatory address from the mayor of the city. |
