On May 14, 2017, Sopot celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Doyran Epopee and the 149th anniversary of the birth of a gen. Vladimir Vazov. Fourth graders from  "Ivan Vazov" Secondary - Sopot paid tribute to the memory of the Bulgarian warrior with an honorary guard in front of the monuments of Vazov brothers. Blessing and eternal glory of the heroes of the victorious battle at Doiran in 1918.
