Sixth international project in a school of the town of Sopot |

Since the current academic year, “Ivan Vazov” Secondary school , Sopot, has started work on its sixth Erasmus + international project funded by the European Commission. The name of the project is "Healthy Life Is Happy Life", it will last for two years, with schools from five other European countries - Italy, Spain, Turkey, Romania and Poland. The project involving the children of Sopot aims to develop the potential for healthy life and nature conservation by enabling students to improve their language and computer skills, along with enhancing their knowledge of the environment, health education, culture of the countries, etc. Two interesting years are coming for the students from Ivan Vazov Secondary school, Sopot, through which they will make presentations, posters, health magazine; will maintain a Facebook page of the project, will plant trees and will most likely create new friendships with pupils from Europe. Students from Ivan Vazov Secondary school of Sopot, as part of the project activities, have already organized a healthy breakfast, acquainted with basic nutrients, organized sports events, brochures and presentations on the topics of the project. The first workshop on the project "Healthy Life is a Happy Life" took place between November 14-16, 2017 in Trani, Italy. In the charming Mediterranean city, coordinators and teachers from partner countries presented their schools, their country's educational systems, distributed work tasks, and prepared a plan for future mobility. Representatives of "Ivan Vazov" Secondary school, Sopot, were Mr. Iliya Petkov - Project Coordinator, Mrs. Ralitsa Doninska - English Language Teacher and Ms Slavka Zilkova - Librarian.
The next Erasmus + project meeting will be held in Turkey at the end of March 2018 and will be attended by students as well. |
