During  the week  from 11th to 15th December 2017, at Ivan Vazov Secondary school  in Sopot, we organized interesting and exciting meetings with the characters of Astrid Lindgren in extra reading classes and also Christmas fairy tales and short stories readings in the club "Read Together". Bulgarian language classes began with a dictation of the Institute for Bulgarian Language at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences entitled "Written remains. Write correctly. "

At the initiative of the school council, a corner of teenage magazines was set up in the lobby. Young Journalist Club conducted the poll, which showed that reading is not the most favorite activity for students, but they prefer to read from paper and are convinced that there is no danger that books will disappear.

New ideas for encouraging reading and sharing the pleasure of reading were enriched, enriching the School Action Plan to implement the National Strategy for Promotion and Literacy Enhancement in 2018.
