The students from “ Ivan Vazov “Secondary school in Sopot celebrated 145 years since the death of Vasil Ivanov Kunchev with various events. On February 18, teachers, students and parents attended a commemorative ceremony in his hometown.

On 19 February, at the school library, they held a patriotic lesson "In Memory of the Apostle". Fourth graders, fifth graders and seven-graders showed knowledge about Levsky's life and deed. An exhibition of books, a presentation and a film added the topic. Curious facts were reported by Mr. Peter Berliev.

A representative group of the school students took part in the communal pilgrimage, bowed its heads and offered flowers to the bust of the Levski monument in Sopot.
