On 04.05.2018 in the city of Plovdiv in the Center for Disaster Protection Training took place the 19th Regional School Competition "Disaster, Fire and Emergency Protection". 11 teams took part in it. The competition took place in two stages. The first one involves checking the theoretical knowledge of students by solving a test. In the second teams participate in racing games in four training centers: "Disaster protection"; "Protection against industrial accidents"; "Fire Safety" "First Aid", in which participants demonstrate practical skills, dexterity, wits and speed. In the practical stages the teams perform the time tasks. Children must show their skills in the setting of a gas mask, as well as the right actions to protect against disasters and industrial accidents, first aid in a given situation and work with a co-pump.

This school year Antonia Halacheva, Darina Ivanova, Preslava Petrova and Alexander Beynov, coach Ralitsa Dimova presented the “Ivan Vazov” Secondary school in Sopot in the competition. The competition went with many emotions. Stumbling stone was the first step in solving a test. The final standings will place the fourth place and the participation certificate for the team.
