On the Day the 1^st of November students from IInd to VIIIth grade of "Ivan Vazov" –Secondary school, Sopot organized a trip to the European Capital of Culture - Plovdiv. They attended the educational show "Folklore carousel" of the ensemble "Thrace". The musicians, singers and dancers, with artistic director Prof. Geneva, presented the magic of the dance variety of the different ethnographic regions of Bulgaria, with the types of musical instruments and colours of the folk costumes and traditions specific for each area.

With interest, the students viewed the rich and varied exposition of the Regional Museum of Natural History. They walked in the Dondukov garden, where Vazov lived from 1881 to 1888 and presented some flowers to his monument.
