On March 14th , the world celebrates one of the most unusual holidays - Pi Day. The date was chosen because of its American spelling - 3.14, which coincides with the shortest way to denote the mathematical constant expressing the ratio of the length of a circle to the length of its diameter. At the same time, it coincides with the birthday of Albert Einstein. The seventh grade students at "Ivan Vazov"Secondary school –Sopot, prepared and presented presentations on the topic. The students from VA class conducted a combined lesson in Mathematics and Man and Nature - "Measurement of bodies. Fractions. " The class was divided into three teams: "Undercover", "Sweet Shop" and "Fresh Fruit and Vegetables". They measured quantities, calculated values and converted fractions.
