The 100th anniversary of the day that has began the First Balkan War (1912-1913) in Bulgaria - a heroic epic of liberation and human rights of Bulgarians in the Ottoman Empire.

The celebrations in the town of Sopot began on 30 September. Students from "Ivan Vazov" Secondary School took part in a tribute and appreciation and put flowers on the monuments of the two brothers named Vazovi.

We are proud of Lieutenant Georgi Minchov Vazov who has won the tactical battle near Edirne. In this way, the history lesson began at the house - museum "Ivan Vazov" in Sopot, read by Stefan Filchev at the students from 5 and 6 grades. The documentary film "The Balkan War -1912-1913" illustrated the lecture. The exhibition of authentic artifacts provided by the company 'Tradition' excited a great interest.
